Accident
In 2021, Hecker was out of work for weeks due to an accident that required surgery. On her Facebook, she explained to her followers that;
If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen me on KMOV lately, here’s why!
I was on vacation last week in the Caribbean and broke my ankle in a freak accident on a catamaran.
Today, I had surgery to fix the fractures. Recovery begins now, although I’m not quite sure what that’ll look like.
But, I’ll be back in no time!
She was able to recover fully and got back to work.
