Charles revealed he has two adult daughters who helped him move on with his life. His daughter Sophia encouraged him to watch The Golden Bachelor which he had never watched before. She said; “Dad, I think this is a very fascinating program and I think you’d find it interesting, plus it’s really time for you to move on…You deserve it.”
Charles applied and after a few days, he was contacted for the interview. One of his daughters also made a cameo during the premiere of The Golden Bachelorette. One moment where he melts fans’ hearts is when he calls his daughter over the phone to show her his first prom attendance.
Ling is also very close to his two daughters. He shared that;
“We are so close. Like other families, we do trips together, we read together, and we share our concerns, and questions and answers, we are a very, very open-oriented family. I really don’t have to worry at all. We are lucky to have those darling daughters.”
