Chrisean Eugenia Malone, famous as Chrisean Rock, was arrested on June 10, 2024, while attending a court hearing for Blueface in the San Fernando Valley.
Chrisean was sued by James Wright, Tamar Braxton’s backup dancer for for injuries sustained during an alleged assault. She has also facing drug-related charges in Oklahoma since 2022. She has been dodging the warrant since 2022 and was named as a felony fugitive in that state.
During a live on Instagram, she said that she was aware of the warrant but wouldn’t be turning herself in as she is busy taking care of her son. After she was arrested, she requested her son to be in the custody of her best friend Marsh.
Chrisean Rock Faces Eight Years on Drug-Related Charges
Chrisean Rock is now serving jail time at the Craig County Detention Center. She is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. If convicted on both counts, Chrisean might be in prison for up to 8 years.
The charges date back to 2022 when she was pulled over during a traffic stop for an unpaid toll. She was sitting on the passenger side of the car when she got pulled over. The police noticed a strong smell of marijuana from their car and upon further inspection, they discovered approximately one pound of cannabis inside the car.
Refusing to Turn herself in
In March 2024, Chrisean was live on Instagram interacting with her fans. She told her fans she was well aware there was a warrant for her arrest in Oklahoma but she has no time for jail time.
“Oh, all my warrants are getting cleaned up. I’ve been paying off fees and getting rid of shit talking to certain people to help my situation out. You know I have my son so old me would have just turned myself in and dealt with it from inside to the outside of the jail. So whatever.
Right now I gotta play cautious because you know I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing. I just don’t plan on that at all. So I’m going in every way possible to get that figured out without even trying to serve time and it’s working out for me. So I’m gonna work on my little situations and stuff that’s all about it. “
It appears that officers were already waiting for her on the day she got arrested as she was arrested as soon as she entered the courthouse.
Chrisean’s baby daddy and on-and-off boyfriend is also serving a four-year prison sentence for violating parole. They have an infant who is barely one year old.
When will Chrisean Be released from Prison?
During a live session on Instagram, Natalie Nunn read a comment from her followers who said Chrisean will be released on September 9. However, her next court date is scheduled for September 27. During her son’s first birthday, she shared that she was released a few days before and was happy to share the milestone with her son.
Chrisean’s next court date is scheduled for Sept. 27.
