Claire Anderson is a certified meteorologist who has been forecasting the weather around the country for over 10 years. She currently works at FOX 13 in Seattle, Washington, as a meteorologist, TV host, and reporter.

Is Claire Anderson Married
Claire Anderson is married to her husband Garret Verhoff. He proposed to her on December 23, 2022, at The Kennedy Center and got married on September 1, 2023.
In August 2024, Claire announced that she and her husband are expecting their first child coming January 2025.

Claire Anderson Career Timeline
Anderson worked at KOMO 4 Weather as a news intern from Sep 2011 – Oct 2012. She also worked as a promotional intern for STAR 101.5, KOMO Newsradio, and 570 KVI.
Citing her work, it is known that Claire’s duties were to call station winners, send out the appropriate paperwork, manage winner documents, and prize fulfillment. In addition to this, she helped to plan station promotional events and helped with tasks in the promotional department at Fisher Radio for 4 months.
She also worked in the newsroom with producers, news editors, and desk assignment directors and in the field alongside reporters and photographers at Q13 FOX NEWS. While there, Claire’s duties include newsroom meetings to develop 10 pm nightly news content and research for reporters/photographers.
As a result, she has gained experience with video editing on Final Cut Pro, production room and on-set help, reporting camera-side with the prompter, ENPS/AP news computer system, website content, and shaping news stories.
KIRO 7 News
Anderson worked as a Weekend Meteorologist at the CBS-affiliated television station, KIRO 7 News, since April 2018. Before joining KIRO7, she was hired by KOIN-TV where she worked as a Meteorologist and traffic Anchor/Reporter for a period of 1 year and 10 months.
Furthermore, she was a Morning Weather Anchor/Reporter for KCOY/KKFX in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo. Anderson began her career at KRTV in Great Falls, MT, as a Weekend Meteorologist.
Afterward, she moved to Santa Barbara, CA to work at KCOY as the Weekday Morning Meteorologist for 2 years. In Jun 2012, Claire joined KRTV in Great Falls, Montana, where she served as a News Reporter/ Weekend Weather till May 2014.

In April 2022, Claire announced to her viewers that she would be leaving KIRO7 and joining FOX 5 DC in Washington, She worked at FOX5 DC as a meteorologist for one year and later moved to FOX 13 Seattle in August 2023.
