She frequently appears on the late-night show Gutfeld! and hosts The FOX True Crime Podcast with Emily Compagno on Fox News Radio. The podcast focused on true crime stories from around the world.

Emily graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in political science in 2001. She then attended the USF School of Law, where she graduated in 2006.

In 2016, Compagno began her media career as a legal analyst for CNN. She then joined Fox News in 2018 as a legal analyst and contributor. In 2020, she became a co-host of The Five and the host of Crimes That Changed America. She has also appeared on other FNC programs such as Gutfeld!. In January 2021, she became a co-host of Outnumbered alongside Kayleigh McEnany and Harris Faulkner.
