Katija Stjepovic is an Emmy Award Winning Traffic Anchor and Reporter. She works at KSTU FOX13 News as a reporter and anchor on Good Nays Utah. She previously worked at KSL 5 TV as a traffic reporter and anchor.
Career
Katija graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder where she majored in College of Media, Communication and Information, and Broadcast Journalism. She began her career in 2017 working at Highnoon Entertainment as an entertainment production assistant. She was also a news anchor and reporter at NewsTeam Boulder.
Katija briefly worked at RSA Films as an executive assistant and office coordinator and at Karsh Hagan as an account manager. She joined KSTU FOX13 News in March 2019 as a multimedia producer and reporter before joining KTVB News Group in September 2020. While at KTVB News, Katija began as a multimedia journalist and later transitioned to an anchor and reporter.
In September 2022, Katija joined KSL 5 TV in Salt Lake City as a traffic anchor and reporter. During her maternity leave, she announced that she would not be returning to KSL as her priority was with her family and her newborn daughter.

FOX13 News
In September 2024, Katija announced that she would be joining KSTU-TV Fox 13 News as a traffic reporter and news anchor. Her announcement read;
“FULL CIRCLE MOMENT: Over the moon to announce that I am officially part of the Good Day Utah team at FOX 13 News! I’ll be covering all things traffic and filling in on the desk with the dream team starting Next Monday. Fox 13 has always held a special place in my heart. For those of you who don’t know, this is where my journalism career began. Can’t wait to see you on TV.”

Husband
Katija is married to her husband Scott Hair. They dated for around seven years and got engaged in July 2021. They got married in October 2022 in a beautiful outdoor wedding. Katija and Scott love traveling and exploring nature together.
Baby
Katija and her husband welcomed their first child Leila in January 2024. She announced the birth of their daughter on her Facebook saying;
“Our sweet baby girl Leila Dawn Hair gracefully entered this world on January 30th, 2024. Stronger and mightier than even the doctors predicted at 8 beautiful pounds! There are no words to describe how magical these days have been. We love you so much our girl”
