Keely Chalmers is an American meteorologist working at KUSA-TV, 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado. Before coming to Colorado, Keely worked at KGW in Portland, Oregon as a meteorologist and reporter. She worked at KGW for around 18 years where she reported on weather and and environment-related issues.
Career
Keely began her career in 1997 as a reporter and news anchor for KSFY Television. She then joined KGW News in 2003 where she reported on environmental issues and the climate. While at KGW, she covered everything from severe snow, solar eclipses, fires, tsunamis, and tornadoes.
One of her highlights while working at KGW is during the 2017 solar eclipse. People around Oregon Wine Country gathered for a big event to watch the eclipse. Even though the eclipse lasted for 26 seconds, the eclipse watchers were happy to experience the moment which happens once in a couple of years.
In January 2022, Keeley joined KUSA-TV, 9NEWS as a reporter and meteorologist. She covers the weekend morning and midday weather forecast. She was happy to be back in Colorado where she was raised.

Education
Keely was raised in Englewood, Colorado. She graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara and later obtained her Broadcast Meteorology Certification from Mississippi State University.

Keely is married to her husband Jason. They have two children Avery and Henry. She has shared a couple of her family pictures on her social media pages. Both her children are into sports, playing soccer in their school.
