He started working for the Courtroom Television Network in 1994, a year after it was launched. In his current role, he is in charge of a team that creates two hours of legal news programming every day, with a focus on national legal news and live courtroom cases.
He had a part-time job at the newly established Courtroom Television Network before going full-time. He traveled the whole country reporting on court cases and legal news for a wide audience before rising to the position of the anchor of the network’s signature program, Primetime Justice.
Michael has previously served as a reporter and anchor for CBS in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Reruns of the home repair program “Housesmarts” that are currently airing on NBC affiliates nationwide were written, produced, and reported on by him for a long time.
