Olivia Nuzzi is the New York magazine Washington correspondent. She has been writing since 2011 working for major publications such as The Daily Beast, The Washington Post, GQ, Politico Magazine, and Esquire.

Olivia joined New York magazine in February 2017 as their Washington correspondent. She recently wrote a piece on Joe Bidens deteriorating health titled The Conspiracy of Silence to Protect Joe Biden. Nuzzi also appears on CNN and MSNBC as a contributor.
Olivia Nuzzi Engagment
Olivia is engaged to Ryan Lizza, the chief Washington correspondent for Politico. It is not clear when they began dating but the two worked together in December 2018 for Avid Reader Press.
In September 2022, Olivia shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram with the caption ‘fidanzati’ which translates to engaged.

Career
Olivia’s first job was at triCityNews in 2011 where she was a monthly political columnist. She was also a columnist for  More Monmouth Musings, a news website and politically conservative blog. In 2013, she was part of the interns who volunteered for Anthony Weiner’s New York City mayoral campaign.
In July 2013, she shared her experience at the campaign in a blog post on NSFWcorp. She was then commissioned by The New York Daily News to write a follow-up article about her experience at the campaign.
In May 2014, Nuzzi joined The Daily Beast where she covered the presidential campaigns of Rand Paul, Chris Christie, and also Donald Trump. She joined New York magazine in February 2017 as their Washington correspondent.

Working Capital
Olivia announced that she will be hosting a six-episode interview series on Bloomberg TV which will debut on July 17, 2024. The series will interview prominent political and business individuals on America’s challenges as they face general elections in the coming months.
Some of the prominent people appearing on the show include Representative Ilhan Omar, UN Ambassador Linda Thomas, New York Mayor Eric Adams, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, and billionaire businessman Mark Cuban.

Olivia is the daughter of John and Kelly Nuzzi. Her father passed away in December 2015 while her mother Kely died in February 2021. She has a brother called Johnathan Nuzzi.
