“Yesterday was my last day at FOX25. If I’ve learned one thing in these 3 years, it’s that when you have the opportunity to move to a place you’ve never been to, alone, far from home, trust yourself. Trust the dreams you’re chasing & the hope you’ll catch them. Trust that you’re there for a reason.
While I’m proud of my work as my station’s first Capitol reporter, I’m also proud of my personal growth in Oklahoma.
I’ve lost two of the most important people in my life. I’ve fallen in & out & back in love again. I’ve broken stories. I’ve had breakdowns. I’ve had a strong support system to build me up.
While there’s a lot of I’s and me’s in this message, there wouldn’t be anything without an us. To my FOX25 team who I’ve spent nights and weekends and holidays becoming a family together, thank you. To the lawmakers and comms teams who have answered every phone call, trusted me with your knowledge and given me info you probably weren’t supposed to (can’t confirm or deny), thank you. To my best friends and family who are taking this journey with me, buckle up, we’re just getting started. 😉”
