Steve Harris is an American journalist working at KMOV as a reporter and video journalist for KMOV. His newscast airs every weekday on News 4 at 5 pm. Before joining KMOV, Steve worked at KSPR-TV as a chief photographer, and KDEB-TV as the Master Control Operator and Production Assistant.

He joined KMOV4 in November 2000 as a reporter as well as a video journalist. In 2012, Harris landed a spot on News 4 This Morning as a feature reporter, utilizing social media into practically every story. He has 14 Emmys and 5 Edward R. Murrow Awards to his name.
In his “Harris Hero” column, he has recounted emotional, motivating stories about people who achieve extraordinary things. Harris is deeply committed to giving back to the community and serves as a leader with the local Cub Scouts.
Steve spends his free time with his wife Holly and their two children, Tristan and Noelle, while he is not at work. He strives to spend as much time as possible outside, and you can frequently find him in the newsroom talking to his coworkers about his recent hunting or fishing expeditions.
