Married at First Sight is an American reality show in which relationship experts pair up three to five couples and agree to get married when they meet at their wedding. After getting married, the couple spends the night in a hotel and later leaves for their honeymoon.
After their honeymoon, the couples live together for eight weeks as a married couple. They then decide if they want to stay married or get a divorce at the end of the eight weeks.
Since the show debuted, there have been 17 seasons where couples are chosen from different states for each. As of 2023, 17% of the couples who participated are still married and some have multiple children.
